Hot Hiring Hint from Mel Kleiman : Never Settle for Less

Great companies have great managers who, in turn, hire great employees. If you want to become great, don't settle for employees who are less than the best.

Mediocre employees breed mediocrity, so make sure you recruit and select ONLY the best employees. Not hiring anyone is better than hiring someone who does not meet your highest standards.

This advice may seem hard to take in a tight hiring market, but remember that water seeks its highest level. Keep aiming for the highest level of employee you can find, and your company will keep improving with every new hire you make.
